Limited Seating in a listening room setting…
Enjoy an evening of music and stories with this talented and thoughtful singer/songwriter in an intimate space. We’ll serve you a scratch-made 3-course meal in between sets. This is a ticketed event, no walk-ins allowed.
Katie Henry is a singer, songwriter and pianist from Alma, Wisconsin, creating music that invites listeners into moments of stillness and reflection. Her work centers on delicate, melody-driven compositions and restrained arrangements. Valuing subtlety as much as expression, she aims, through her music, to create a calm, reflective space, grounded in sincerity and connection.
Strongly influenced by the sound of 2004 Sia, Gungor, and The Brilliance, Katie’s style has been described as “chamber pop” - modern music with a classical twist.
For over 15 years, Katie has been writing, arranging, and performing with a wide variety of musicians and musical projects, both nationally and internationally. You may have heard her work somewhere between composing music for Czech television shows (Labyrint Světa a Ráj Srdce) to touring to asylum seeker homes in Germany (Symphony of Nations) to backing up Frederick, the First at Icehouse in Minneapolis (Frederick, the First). Now you will find her closer to the front of the stage as she begins to release her own original music into the wild.
Accompanied by the talented Cass Magpie it’s sure to be a thoughtfully entertaining evening!
